Apple has reportedly dropped their planned shipment volume from 20 million units to 17.5 / 18 million units for the second quarter. That’s according to a recent report from DigiTimes that speculates the reduction in shipment volumes is part of Apple’s preparation for the next generation of iPhone, dubbed the 4S or the more conventional sounding iPhone 5.
