Spotify Slowly Expanding Reach

Innovative music app Spotify today announced a partnership with Logitech that will see Spotify leap onto their Squeezebox Touch and Squeezebox Radio products.

Squeezebox enables you to wirelessly transmit music throughout your home. Yup, it’s basically Logitech’s rival to Apple’s AirPort Express. The Spotify app will be available to Squeezebox owners through the MySqueezebox App site in the coming weeks.

Should Apple be worried about this arrangement  to source music? Not really. But what is significant is Spotify aligning itself with household electronic devices. How long before we see Spotify appearing on Xbox, PlayStation 3, or Google TV? That’s when Apple should be considered about loosing their stronghold on the music market.
