A report from DigiTimes details how Apple will manage their stock of iPads..

Apple internally plans to take deliveries of 6-6.5 million iPads, including iPad 2, in the first quarter of 2011 and aims at a total shipment volume of 40 million iPads for 2011, according to sources from the supply chain. 300,000-400,000 units of iPad 2 will be turned out in the initial batch, the sources pointed out.

Apple is expected to announce the iPad 2 later today. The tablet device is tipped to include front and rear facing cameras, be thinner & lighter, and possibly available in white.
