Who would have thought it? It looks like the iPad 2 was a much sought after device. Surprise!
The iPad 2 went on international sale on the 25th of March and within 24 hours the tablet device was completely sold out in the UK.

Analysts estimate that approximately 500,000 and 1,000,000 iPads have been sold in the US since its launch. It’s not known yet how many iPad 2’s were sold as part of the international launch.
For those that were not able to pick up an iPad 2 from a retailer, the online purchasing system at Apple’s Store is reporting a 3 to 4 week dispatchment delay for all iPad 2’s.
