Activate Multitasking Gestures On Your iDevice Through Jailbreak

The above video demonstrates some of the iPhone’s multitasking gestures. In the video you can see swipe gestures that quickly cycle through open apps and you can rock/shake the iPhone to rotate and lock the iPhone. Very nice.

When iOS 4.3 was in early beta, one of the sexier new features was its multitouch gestures for switching between apps and doing various other actions on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. The multitouch gestures never made it to the public at large; unless you used Xcode and turned your device into developer hardware.

However, a new Cydia tweak permits you to enable the locked down multitouch gestures on your device. You will need to download MT Gestures via ModMyi to your Jailbroken device and activate it within WinterBoard.

Visit Redmond Pie for further instructions.

The hack only works on iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G. iPad support is on the preverbal to-do list and is said to be coming soon.
