Alleged Images Of New iPod Touch Show Capacitative Home Button, 128GB Storage

A report from 9to5Mac shows supposed images of a new iPod Touch. The new model features a capacitive home button, as well as 128GB of storage.

Due to the strangeness of over 126GB of storage being available (124-125 would seem more likely), the old, scratched-up nature of the device shown in the photographs, and the fact that a capacitive home button doesn’t seem to make (it would eliminate its usefulness as a method to reset an iDevice, as it would require software to function), we agree with the opinions of 9to5Mac and BGR that these images are likely fake.
