Apple’s iAd Gallery App Should Be Rejected For Breaking Guidelines

Apple should reject their newly released iAd Gallery App because it violates a certain companies advertising and marketing guidelines. Apple's very own guidelines!

iAd Gallery is an app that does one thing and one thing only; shows you ads. These ads are ones that will be shown throughout their iOS range of devices.

Dan Frommer from Silicon Alley Insider, highlighted section 2.13 in Apple's guidelines which states:

Apps that are primarily marketing materials or advertisements will be rejected

I'm no legal excerpt, but I don't need to be, to know that iAd Gallery clearly breaks the above rule. Will Apple reject their own app? Of course not. I guess when you set the rules; you are entitled to break them.

I wonder will we see rejected Apps use the iAd Gallery App as a case to ignore some of Apple's "thin" guidelines?
