Arkansas getting an Apple Store?

It could be another false start, but ifoAppleStore is reporting that Apple is planning a new store to be opened this autumn in the Promenade at Chenal mall in Little Rock, Arkansas – the first in that state.

Apple posted job listings last week for the second time in four years for a retail location in Arkansas. This will shrink one of the “Apple blackout zones” in the sparsely populated southern US where many people are underserved by the silvery retail meccas. Look out, Trojans!

James first bit into Apple when his mom and dad bought an Apple IIe in 1986. He switched to Wintel in the mid 90s when Apple was in a tailspin and back again to an iBook in 2005 when things were looking brighter. Hopefully there is no turning back to the dark side now.
