Samsung fires back at Apple with counter suit

It was inevitable. Samsung has filed a counter lawsuit Friday in response to Appleā€™s lawsuit earlier this week.

Samsung said the suits, filed in South Korea, Japan and Germany, involved 10 alleged infringements of patents mainly involving power reduction during data transmission, 3G technology for reducing errors during data transmission, and wireless data communication technology.

Google is stuck in the middle of all this with Android OS so it will be interesting to see what role they play in these intellectual property complaints.

James first bit into Apple when his mom and dad bought an Apple IIe in 1986. He switched to Wintel in the mid 90s when Apple was in a tailspin and back again to an iBook in 2005 when things were looking brighter. Hopefully there is no turning back to the dark side now.
