Still Looking For An iPad 2? There’s An App For That!

Since its release on March 11, the iPad 2 is still scarce, and many people that want one still haven’t gotten one. D. L. Horton has stepped forward to help, releasing his FindOne iOS app that scans inventories at Target and Wal-Mart stores.

FindOne will let you specify which iPad you are looking for, after which you enter your zip code, and it pops up a screen listing what’s in stock, along with store phone numbers. Of course, you should always call before getting in your car and running to the store.

Bet buy inventory is said to be coming in the near future. While the App doesn’t support Apple Store inventories, or inventories of local Authorized Resellers, it’s a damn good start, and should help a lot of people find iPad 2’s. The app is free, and you can get it from the App Store (Link).
