Apple Tells How To Remove MacDefender, Will Issue Security Update

A new piece of malware for the Mac called MacDefender has been circulating, and Apple has responded by releasing an article that provides removal instructions for all users. It’s great to see Apple being proactive here.

The support document provides a simple series of removal steps for affected users. Apple has also announced that they will be releasing a security update for Macs to automatically protect users from this attack.
