iOS 4.3.3 Still Vulnerable To Latest Untethered Jailbreak

According to a tweet from C0mex, Apple’s just-released update that addresses location tracking on iOS is still vulnerable to the latest untethered jailbreak, which comes as something of a surprise.

Dev-Team member C0mex posted a message on Twitter yesterday that confirmed the exploit was still successful. While we don’t recommend you try jailbreaking the latest iOS release with Redsn0w or PwnageTool, it’s only a matter of time before both tools are updated.

Apple typically addresses and repairs these vulnerabilities with successive updates to iOS, so its anyone’s guess here – did it slip through their fingers, or were the just more interested in getting the update out quickly?

We’ll keep you posted on when updated jailbreak tools become available.
