PwnageTool And redsn0w Now Updated For iOS 4.3.3

Yesterday we reported that the new iOS version, 4.3.3, is still vulnerable to the untethered jailbreak that the iPhone Dev-Team released for the previous iOS version. Dev-Team released the updated jailbreak tools today.

Through a tweet just a few minutes ago, the Dev-Team reported that their jailbreaking tools PwnageTool and redsn0w are now updated to support iOS 4.3.3.

This is actually the same jailbreak exploit that has been used since iOS 4.3.3, which @i0n1c created. This is very unusual since Apple often fixes the holes straight away for the next update. But who am I to complain?

On another note, we are still waiting desperately for the iPad 2 jailbreak to come out, but the developments of that jailbreak seem to have stalled. The first hole that Dev-Team found was mysteriously fixed by Apple just days after Dev-Team found it. So now they are all very quiet about the progress until an actual jailbreak is ready for release.
