According to a very interesting report from the financial analysts at the Motley Fool, Apple’s profits in the Asia-Pacific region are up nearly 3000 percent from 5 years ago. Also, profits in the US and European markets are up significantly as well, just not as dramatically as in the Asia-Pacific region.
Apple’s sales today are still largely US-centric, with 44% of all sales occurring in the United States, and 56 percent reserved for the rest of the world. In addition to Apple’s impressive Asia-Pacific profit gains, profits are up nearly 700% in the US, nearly 1200% in Japan, and over 1500% in Europe. The below chart shows the impressive figures.
Any way you look at it, Apple’s making a fat chunk of change all over the world – and those numbers are far from waning. Apple may only have reached the very tip of the iceberg of their financial potential.
