Infinity Blade Reaches Epic Proportions, Earns $10 Million

Yesterday, Epic Games and Chair Entertainment announced that earnings from their popular iOS game Infinity Blade have exceeded $10 million – and the game has only been around for 6 months!

As our source reports, Epic’s vice president and co-founder, Mark rain, commented that Infinity Blade’s success proves that phenomenal gaming experiences can be successful on iOS, and that there’s plenty of demand for high-quality premium content like Infinity Blade on the App Store. He also noted that Epic has decided to license its unique game engine from Infinity Blade to other developers.

Infinity Blade is a great fantasy game, built around the idea of sword fighting your way through many opponents, gaining money, items, and increasing in “level” and ability along your quest to defeat the God-King. The game is $5.99 (App Store Link), and runs as a universal app on iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch. If you don’t have it yet, I highly recommend that you give it a try.
