Less than 24 hours after the developer release of iOS 5 hit the streets, MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev Team has JailBreaked iOS 5.
MuscleNerd posted images to his Twitter account that confirmed the JailBreak. This JB is a tethered one meaning you would need to connect you device to a computer on every reboot.
Cydia appears to be working on MuscelNerd’s Jailbroken 4th generation iPod Touch and he also installed SSH utility app iSSH.
A date for full release to the public of this iOS 5 Jailbreak is not known.
Apple released iOS 5 to developers yesterday before the public release coming this fall. iOS 5 brings with it more than 200 new features including notifications, newsstand, Twitter integration, camera update, and much more.
