iPhone 4 16GB Drops To $149 At Walmart

9to5Mac reports that Walmart is lowing the price of the 16GB iPhone down to $147 with a 2-year contract, down from the previous $197. The promotion is active until June 30th of this year.

The promotion applies to both black and white models, running on either AT&T or Verizon – could they have a really compelling reason to be trying to offload these devices onto consumers? I’ll let you speculate on that.
