Apple made a lot of announcements at WWDC that may assimilate many existing apps into their next iOS release. One potential upcoming iOS5 camera feature that may result in some apps become redundant is the inclusion of code that indicates Apple is to introduce a native panoramic function in iOS 5.
The discovery was made by 9to5Mac reader SonnyD and may result in existing panorama apps such as Microsoft’s Photosynth & 360 Panorama becoming redundant.
A developer release of iOS 5 is currently available while iOS 5 will have a public release in the Fall.
