The Pope Sends His First Tweet – From An iPad!

According to a report from RomeReports.com, Pope Benedict XVI has officially used an iPad to send his first tweet! The Pope has also reportedly used the iPad to launch a new Vatican website.

The new website, according to the report, is both a way to celebrate the 60th anniversary of his ordination, and also an effort to keep up with technology. The iPad that the Pope received was apparently pre-loaded with a short video highlighting some tidbits of information about the Papacy, and includes an interview with the Pope’s brother, George Ratzinger, who is also a priest.
