Apple’s Website Suggests iWork Will Soon Be Updated For Lion

A new image scoured from Apple’s website has revealed a very interesting screenshot: Apple’s Pages application running as a full-screen app. Currently, Pages, which is part of Apple’s iWork suite, does not feature a full-screen mode under the Golden Master of Lion, indicating that an update to iWork that more fully supports Lion is immanent.

While this is speculative, and certainly doesn’t exceed the bounds of a rumor, the fact that it is directly supported by imagery from Apple’s website is very interesting. While I won’t be expecting a brand new version of iWork any time soon, it does seem likely that Apple will release an update of some kind to bring the suite up to Lion’s standard.
