Report: Apple May Offer Lion and New MacBook Airs On July 14th!

Following Apple’s release of the GM seed of OS X Lion to developers earlier today, a new report suggests that Apple will be releasing OS X Lion on July 14th, right alongside new MacBook Airs!

The report does not specifically confirm that that MacBook Airs will be released alongside Lion, but does note that the two products have been marketing together, which, they suggest, makes the matter more likely. The sources also warn that the release date could be pushed back at any time.

Personally, without providing any evidence, or even a strong logical reason for their claims, I’m not sure what to think about this particular rumor. Your thoughts? Sound off in the comments!
