Apple Seeds iOS 5 Beta 6, New iTunes 10.5 & XCode Beta Builds To Developers

Apple has just released iOS 5 beta 6, the newest pre-release version of iOS 5, to developers today, as well as Tunes 10.5 beta 6 to support syncing with the new iOS beta, and a new xCode The new build is available as an over-the-air Delta update, or through the Apple Developer Portal.

The update weighs in at about 144MB, and carries a build number of 9A5302b. As is typical the release basically represents Apple’s continued efforts to polish iOS 5 before its public release later this Fall. As usual, you’ll be require to install iTunes 10.5 beta 6 to be able to fully sync with your updated device.

Unlike iOS 5 beta 5, Apple does not recommend wiping your device prior to updating to iOS 6 beta 6. It is highly recommended that you backup your device in iTunes before installing the latest developer beta. The full change log for the new release can be found over at BGR.
