Apple Updates Malware Definitions To Detect Fake Flash Player Trojan

You may remember our report earlier this month about a new Mac trojan disguising itself as the installer for Adobe Flash Player. Apple has now updated their anti-malware definitions to detect and remove this threat.

Although there are admittedly fewer and fewer reasons to even install Flash Player on your Mac these days, if you do decide to install, make sure you’re obtaining the installer directly from Adobe’s website to minimize your risk for this threat.
