Firefox 6 Is Now Officially Available – Go Get It!

For those of you that still use Firefox for some reason, Mozilla has now officially released Firefox 6. The new version is said to use fewer system resources, run faster, have some new interface elements, and contain optimizations and bug fixes.

The new version is supposedly 20% faster than Firefox 5, and includes support for new HTML5 and CSS3 elements. Further, it also has a number of changes made with web developers in mind, although it does not yet support full screen mode on OS X Lion.

The update can be obtained either within Firefox (by opening Firefox, selecting Firefox > About Firefox from the menu bar and clicking “Update”, from Mozilla’s official website, or via the direct links below.
