iPad Projected To Lead Tablet Market Through 2013

According to the latest projections from research firm IHS iSupply, Apple is likely to maintain its leading position in the tablet market for longer than previously expected as rivals fumble all over themselves in an attempt to make a dent in the iPad’s success.

The report suggests that Apple could ship up to 44.2 million iPads this year, an increasing of 500k from their previous estimate. Additionally, due Apple’s competitors being seemingly unable to produce a suitable rival, iSupply projects that Apple will continue to have a stranglehold on the market until at least 2013.
