Japanese users of iOS 5 will benefit from the integration of early notification alerts for earthquakes.
Earlier this year Japan was hit by a series of Tsunami as a result of an offshore earthquake that devastated the country.
Apple have decided to take a proactive measure in efforts to alert Japanese users of possible earthquakes by introducing a notification system that is always connected to Japan’s earthquake warning system.
Nice move, Apple. Hopefully we might see this feature rolled out to more countries that have a history of natural disasters.
