Screeny App Celebrates Lion Compatibility With A $2.99 Sale

Screeny, a lightweight screen recording app for Mac, is on sale for only $2.99 in the Mac App Store. Normally priced at $14.99, Screeny is celebrating the apps Lion capability by reducing the price for a limited time only.

If you ever wanted to do screencasts on your Mac, now is your chance to grab Screeny.app for a fifth of its regular price!

Download Screeny App from the App Store for only $2.99.

Screeny gives you the freedom to capture your videos or images at any size. You can click & drag to resize the capture area or input the exact pixel dimensions to set to the size of the capture area. All the while you will get instant feedback on the capture area’s current pixel dimensions.

Screen casting just got a billion times better with Screeny. Now you can capture a specific portion of your screen, rather than having to record your entire desktop. This can drastically reduce video file size and bring focus to a specific portion of your screen.

We will soon have a full review of Screeny on Mactrast. In the mean time, check out the below video introduction..

  1. Mharing says:

This screencaster looks interesting!  I’m looking forward to your review.  I hope you will compare it with other offerings that are available like Jing.

    1. Cormac Moylan says:

      Hi Mharing,
I will compare it to Quicktime since QT comes with Lion and has its own screen recording functionality built into it.

If we were to do a “Top 5 Screen Recording Apps For Mac” post then we would do a comparison with other paid options.
