Steve Jobs’ Resignation Not Indicative Of Declining Health

With the fact that Steve Jobs had been on medical leave for 7 months up to his resignation as CEO, many have speculated that his resignation may mean his health has significantly declined. Fortunately, that appears not to be the case, as Steve Jobs worked a full productive day prior to the announcement.

Bloomberg reports on Jobs’ recent health and activities, noting that the resignation was NOT due to a sudden decrease in health. Jobs was in Apple’s Cupertino office the entire day, and even attended a board meeting.

Even though the resignation doesn’t indicate a significant sudden reduction in Jobs’ health, it should be noted that Jobs’ health remains a significant matter of concern, although it’s good to know that the announcement isn’t a sign that things have gotten significantly worse for Jobs.
