Fans of Douglas Adams’ wildly popular novel “The Hitch-Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” will be excited to know that Hothead Games will soon be releasing an interactive edition of the Guide, turning your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad into an authentic replication of the actual Hitchhiker’s Guide described in the books.
Users will be able to freshen up their knowledge on towels, Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters, the Babel Fish, and more! The developers reportedly spend a lot of focus on taking existing guide entries found in the novels and adding them to the app in a unique and interactive way.
The app is being developed out of respect for the original style, and will stay true to Douglas Adams’ original ideas. The end result should be an app that looks and feels exactly how it should to fans. For more information on the upcoming app, check out the official website.
