iStandardClock: The Native iPad Clock App That Never Was

Users of both an iPhone and an iPad have often noted the iPad’s lack of a native clock application like the iPhone has. eFUSION has taken notice of this fact and developed iStandard Clock for the iPad ($0.99, App Store Link) – A simple clock app designed to mimic the look, feel, and function of the native Clock.app on the iPhone.

This app does a great job of filling the gap of the iPad’s missing clock app. Having used it for a couple of days, it really does feel like the native app that should have been on the iPad all along! Below is the feature list:

Analog clock.
City wise time display.
Clock color changes on evening and morning.
Weekly/daily alarm repeat function
Alarm sound ON/OFF and built-in 4 patterns of sound.
Snooze ON/OFF
Alarm label/message
Support lap function
Sound ON/OFF and and built-in 4 patterns of sound.
It really is baffling why Apple did not include a standard clock app on the iPhone. Since iStandard Clock is identical to the standard clock app on the iPhone, it feels like it belongs natively on the iPad.

iStandard clock is available on the iPad from the iTunes App Store ($0.99, App Store Link)
