Apple To Open Massive New Hong Kong Retail Store This Saturday

Earlier this year, we reported on Apple’s plans to open up its first Hong Kong retail store, which fills a massive 15,000 square foot space in the International Finance Center Mall, by the end of the year. The grand opening of this store has now been confirmed for this Saturday, September 24.

The massive new store is located on the far eastern edge of the mall, and spans two levels, displacing ten former retail stores that once occupied the space. The opening date is revealed by a small sign placed in front of the store’s entrance.

Little is known about the interior design of the store, but it will serve as a significant new flagship location for Apple as the first store in one of the world’s leading centers of finance. Apple has already launched a Hong Kong retail page, with a page dedicated to the new store already up and running.
