LEGO Robot Helps Stress Test An iPad App

LEGO blocks and robots have always been traditional play things of the technically inclined. The folks at Pheromone Lab, however, have taken things to a whole new level by using a LEGO Mindstorm robots to stress test a client’s iPad app!

The robot was programmed as an automatic photographer, forcing the app to take pictures as rapidly as possible until 10,000 photos had been taken. The rig is equipped with an iPad styles that it uses to repeatedly trigger the photo capture button in the app, leaving the testers with little to do but sit back and watch.
