Mercedes has just unveiled some awesome new iPhone integration at this years IAA Motor Show in Frankfurt, reports 9to5Mac. The new concept, called iPhone Interface Plus, uses a free App Store app to turn the iPhone into the Mercedes’ main media hub.
The new iPhone Interface Plus will be available as a retrofit option in every Mercedes Benz released from Summer 2012 onward. The iPhone is concealed in the glove compartment, and will be completely integrated into the vehicle’s electronic system, using a larger display on the vehicle’s dashboard to control and view multimedia content with as little distraction as possible.
