Saks Uses 64 iPads & 18 Apple Cinema Displays To Build Massive Interactive Storefront

As a celebration for Fashion’s Night Out, Saks and Stylelist.com have teamed together to create a huge interactive storefront at Saks’ 5th Avenue retail store.

The 3-window storefront was designed, developed, and build by Gin Lane Media, and is made from 64 iPad 2s and 18 27-inch Apple Cinema Displays. The massive display will show original imagery from Stylelist, streaming content, various tweets from around the world, and user-submitted photos bearing a unique #StylelistatSaks hashtag.

The iPads run a custom-build native app designed just for the display, and the entire setup operates over a local WiFi network.
