Samsung Already Planning To Sue Apple Over iPhone 5

Samsung is apparently already planning a series of patent lawsuits over the iPhone 5, according to The Korea Times, despite the fact that Apple has not even officially announced the next-gen device yet.

The information comes through a Samsung executive (asking not to be named), who reportedly had the following to say about the matter: “Just after the arrival of the iPhone 5 here, Samsung plans to take Apple to court here for its violation of Samsung’s wireless technology related patents.”

Apple has been involved in a long series of legal disputes with Samsung over design and intellectual property issues, with this latest Samsung stunt merely adding fuel to an already blazing fire. Waiting for a device to be released simply to come up with half-baked intellectual property disputes does seem like an especially low move, even for Samsung.
