T-Mobile Already Accepting iPhone 5 Reservations In Germany

Despite the fact that the iPhone 5 has not been released yet, Bloomberg reports that a spokesman for Deutsche Telekom AG, T-Mobile’s parent company, has announced that T-Mobile customers in Germany are already being allowed to reserve the upcoming handset.

According to the report, with additional details being reported at 9to5Mac, the pre-orders are being handled through a ticketing system. Each customer is allowed to obtain one ticket, basically a support ticket, that will allow then to claim and pay for their iPhone 5 when it arrives on a first come, first served basis.

At the time of the writing only currently Deutsch Telecom customers are eligible for a coupon, and new customers will have to wait until the device officially becomes available at retail.

This is just one more piece of evidence in a mounting heap suggesting that the iPhone 5 could arrive very, very soon.
