Apple’s Grand Central Retail Store To Be Open In Time For Holiday Shopping

Many of you are likely aware that Apple is building a new retail store in New York’s Grand Central Station. According to TechCrunch, the new store is nearly ready for business, and is set to be open by Black Friday, just in time for the holiday shopping season.

The store will take up a massive 15,230 square foot space, and 9to5Mac, who provided the above shot of the store, reports that the store’s employees are already undergoing training at a Times Square hotel. The training will continue until November 11th.

In addition to being a huge shopping day, Black Friday is also one of the biggest travel days of the year in the U.S., priming the Grand Central Apple Store for a significant sales rush as it opens for the first time. Additional footage of the store can be seen in the below embedded video:
