First iPhone 4S Pre-Orders Arrive Early In Germany

The first iPhone 4S pre-orders have already been delivered 4 days ahead of schedule to several German customers, reports MacRumors. Images have been posted to German website Macerkopf showing off units that have already arrived.

Information has already been leaked about the devices, as a video circulating yesterday showed the new device, its settings for Siri, and the first benchmarks for the device, showing that it really is twice as fast as the iPhone 4.

The iPhone 4S is officially scheduled to launch on Friday, October 14th in the U.S., Canada, Australia, the U.K., France, Germany and Japan, with Apple Retail Stores opening at 8 a.m. for the launch. The launch will expand to 22 more countries by the end of October: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
