How To: Launching The Camera From The Lock Screen For iPhone

One of the new iOS 5 features is the ability to launch the digital camera application directly from the lock screen.

Simply double tap the home button at the bottom of the phone. The home button is shown below:

After this is done your lock screen will look like this:

Simply tap the camera button as highlighted above and you will instantly be taken into the camera app in order to record video or take still photographs.

Remember with iOS 5 and your iPhone you can now also use the volume up button to take a photograph or to start and end the recording of a video.
