Photo Comparison: iPhone 4 vs. iPhone 4S

In addition to putting out a hands-on video of the iPhone 4S showing how it compared to the iPhone 4 in benchmarks, AppVV has also posted some photos comparing the new iPhone 4S side-by-side with both the CDMA and GSM versions of the iPhone 4.

The photos reflect that the antenna design of the 4S is most similar to the CDMA iPhone 4 rather than the GSM iPhone 4. Many already suspected that this would be the case, as the CDMA iPhone 4 contained all the hardware necessary to connect to GSM networks, and also had a slightly modified antenna to account for it.

Just for reference, these photos show the iPhone 4S on the left, the GSM iPhone 4 in the middle, and the CDMA iPhone 4 on the right. The photos also appear to show that the iPhone 4S is not noticeably thicker than either iPhone 4 model.

The photos also strengthen AppVV’s claim that they actually do have their hands on an iPhone 4S prior to the official launch.
