Samsung’s Lawyers Struggle To Tell The iPad & Galaxy Tab Apart

As the heated legal struggle over patents and intellectual rights continues between Apple and Samsung, Reuters reports that even Samsung’s own lawyers struggle to tell the difference between the iPad & the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

U.S. District Court Judge Lucy Koh has ruled that Samsung’s Galaxy Tab line of tablets do infringe on Apple’s iPad patents, although Apple must show that their patents are valid in order to take action.

Koh continually noted distinct similarities between the iPad & Galaxy Tab, and even went so far as to challenge Samsung’s own lawyers to tell the difference between the two tablets.

During the hearing, Koh held both tablets above her head and asked Samsung lawyer Kathleen Sullivan if she could tell which tablet was which. Sullivan, who was standing at a podium about ten feet away, responded:

Not at this distance, your honor.

How embarrassing, Samsung, How embarrassing indeed.
