Steve Jobs’ Death Certificate Released, Respiratory Arrest & Pancreatic Tumor Listed As Cause Of Death

According to Bloomberg, Steve Jobs’ death certificate has been released from the San Clara County Public Health Department, listing respiratory arrest and pancreatic tumor as the primary cause of death.

Steve Jobs passed away last Wednesday, October 5th at about 3 p.m. pacific time:

Steve Jobs died at home of respiratory arrest and a pancreatic tumor at about 3 p.m. on Oct. 5, according to his death certificate. His occupation was listed as “entrepreneur.”

The Santa Clara County Public Health Department in San Jose, California, released the document today.

A private funeral for Jobs was held last Friday, and Apple will be holding a celebration of Steve Jobs’ life for Apple employees on October 19th. Fans and admirers have been leaving tributes at Apple Stores, Apple’s Cupertino headquarters, and Steve Jobs private home since his passing.
