Apple Misses iTunes Match Launch Deadline

Apple has missed their self-imposed late October deadline for the release of their iTunes Match service, reports MacRumors, leading some to wonder whether Apple may be experience late issues with the service preventing its release.

It’s unusual for Apple to miss a deadline that they’ve already announced, and the recent iTunes 10.5.1 beta released to developers for testing the service has now expired, with no new release in sight.

iTunes Match is a $25 annual subscription service that scans your iTunes library and makes all of your music available for streaming and download from any Mac or iOS device linked to your Apple ID.
