Apple Set to Sell a Record-Breaking 5.3 Million Macs This Holiday Quarter

Apple’s October Mac sales have been nothing but impressive (up 19% year over year), and could put Apple in a position to achieve all-time record sales of over five million Macs for the holiday quarter.

Gene Munster revealed the information in a recent note provided to investors, reports AppleInsider, and suggests that Apple is on target to sell between 5.1 and 5.3 million Macs through the months of October, November and December.

If Accurate, those numbers would reflect year-over-year increases of between 23 and 28 percent, and according to the report, Wall Street analysts expect Apple to report sales of at least 5.2 million Macs for the quarter.
