Apple Store Black Friday Sales Were “off the charts”

Appleā€™s Black Friday sales blew away expectations, with Apple recording their biggest sales day of all time, reports 9to5Mac. Apple had forecasted sales of 4x higher than normal for the event, but by 7pm, this had already been exceeded.

A source inside Apple retail stated the following:

Apple Retail was forecast and broke Retail sales records all over the country today, this is from [redacted] today, the forecast today is more than 4 times what we normally do. We broke the forecast by 7pm.

The Macbook Air was believed to be the best selling device, and with Apple rarely discounting their products, the temptation was too hard to resist for many.
