First Concept Art Surfaces For Apple’s Rumored “iTV”

New mockups have been released on Flickr showing what Apple’s rumored “iTV” might look like. Created by artist Guilherme Schasiepen, they show the iTV as being super thin, and equipped with Siri, a multi-touch display and more.

According to Schasiepen, The TV itself would be available in 32″, 42″ and 50″ models, and would include at least 1 TB of storage. The mockups also portray the iTV as including iCloud integration, Airplay and Facetime.

Glasses-free 3D is also mentioned, although that seems somewhat less likely than other features in the concepts.

Take out the multi-touch, 3D, and crappy bracket (that would NEVER get by Jony Ive), and maybe. I’m still sticking with, it’s probably just an AppleTV with iCloud, maybe Siri, and possibly Apps. FaceTime, I can kinda see that but doubtful, especially if it’s just a box like the first and second editions.

    1. Extensor says:

You are probably right about the bracket but it would need to be removable for wall mounting.

  2. I like the feature set, though I agree that 3D is a fad Apple will be unlikely to jump on to, and I feel the design of the TV will be a little less rounded. Brushed aluminum for sure, just a little more square at the corners, like a really big iMac.

Multitouch? Hmm, don’t think you want to be up close to a 50″ screen with bright colours.

    Glossy screen? Epic fail.
