Ever been faced with a situation where you need to give someone your phone number, but aren’t exactly thrilled about it? Fortunately, there’s a great solution – a new app called RingShuffle (free, App Store Link) that gives you a disposable phone number perfect for just such occasions.
The app is extremely simple, and provides three different numbers to choose from (including numbers from different area codes). When anyone asks you for your number, you can simply give them one of these, and RingShuffle will forward the call to your iPhone.
Any number generated through the app will automatically expire after just one week, allowing you to either renew the number, or select a new number, leaving the other one in the past (and no longer connected to you in any way).
