Siri-Controlled Television Created Using Proxy Hack

While we all await Apple’s rumored new Siri-enabled “iTV” television set, which will no doubt be magical, revolutionary, and so on, developer Todd Treece has taken matters into his own hands – by using SiriProxy to create his own Siri-controlled TV!

Treece used the Arduino platform, and the same SiriProxy hack previously used to start a car, control a thermostat, control curtain, ceiling fans and more, and has come up with a pretty impressive result. This really shows potential for Siri in a future television set – this hack actually does a pretty great job of controlling a TV!
