Dalrymple: iPad 3 Will Not Be Released at Macworld (Debunked)

The Loop’s Jim Dalrymple put his two cents worth in regarding this morning’s rumor that Apple may introduce an iPad 3 at MacWorld in January. His response, quite unsurprisingly, is something along the lines of “no chance in Hell.”

I checked with a number of my sources today and an iPad 3 is not planned for release at Macworld. In case you’re wondering, an iPad 3 won’t be released at CES either.

You can also mark a TV off your list for either one of those shows too — it’s not going to happen, according to my sources.

Dalrymple is very well-sourced within the Apple community, and has a great track record when it comes to the goings on at the Cupertino company.

Besides, Apple has withdrawn from pretty much all trade shows, including Macworld, and there’s simply no good reason to think that’s about to change.

I’m gonna put this one in the “no duh” file.
