Kindle for iOS Update Brings Cloud Document Storage, Kindle Magazines for iPad and More

Amazon has just released an update to their Kindle app for iOS, bringing Kindle magazine support to the iPad, a new Send-to-Kindle feature for uploading documents to Amazon’s cloud, as well as better support for digital textbooks.

The Send-to-Kindle feature seems pretty awesome, and granting iPad users access to their collection of over 400 magazines seems like a good move as well. All in all, a solid update from Amazon. The update is available now through the App Store (free, App Store link).

What’s New in Version 2.9

Customers can buy a single issue or subscribe to popular magazines and leading newspapers and have them wirelessly delivered to the Kindle for iPad app.
